Howland Canal
The formality of the design is based on a simple grid system. It was organized and programmed to create clean lines, subtle screening, usable area and an extension of the architecture. The use of sculptural, distinct plantings and hardscape creates a clean graphic landscape with minimal maintenance needs, and a site that is completely pervious and reduces water use by using drip irrigation.
